on the 5th of July this year, within the Uzbek–German international business forum, director of the State Assets Management Agency Akmalkhon Ortikov, executive director of the German Eastern Business Association Michael Harms and director of Mangold Consulting GmbH Christoph Mangold signed a trilateral Memorandum of understanding.

The Memorandum, compiled on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation and trust among the parties, implies cooperation in the direction of improving the processes of management of state assets and privatization of enterprises with state participation, as well as forms and methods of corporate governance.

At the same time, it is planned to launch a process aimed at providing practical support to the development of corporate governance in Uzbekistan. In particular, joint training courses, seminars, conferences and trainings on professional development of personnel with participation of representatives of enterprises, as well as the establishment of technical and technological strategies in enterprises, the implementation of successful post-privatization projects, the development of corporate governance are to be organized.

For reference, the German Eastern Business Association improves the framework conditions for German companies in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia, in turn, Mangold Consulting GmbH advises nationally and internationally operating companies from Germany and abroad as well as individual entrepreneurs and institutions.
