The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 19 April 2024 “On measures to transform and accelerate the process of privatisation of large enterprises with state participation” was signed.
The Decree confirms the following:
1. 7 blocks of shares (stakes) will be put up for public sale on the international market with the involvement of professional consultants;
(JSC “Thermal Power Plants”, JSC “Dekhanabad Potash Plant” JSC “EICC “Uzbekinvest”, JSC “Uzagrosugurta”, LLC “Inter Hotel”, LLC “Samarkand Automobile Plant”, LLC “Tashkent Metallurgical Plant”)
2. 4 large enterprises with state participation, primary (IPO) and (or) secondary (SPO) public offering of shares of which will be held on the international stock market.
