The State Assets Management Agency held a seminar on "Responsibility for Corruption Offenses".

According to the Presidential Order dated January 9, 2019 "On radical improvement of legal awareness and legal culture in society" №5618 and the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated May 16, 2022 №259 on implementation of this Order, it is provided to hold the "Anti-Corruption Month" in state bodies and organizations, aimed at strengthening knowledge of employees on labor law, prevention of offences, working with contracts and appeals.

At the same time, the "Work Plan for the second half of 2022" of the State Assets Management Agency also provides for the "Anti-Corruption Month".

In seminar-training held on 24 November this year on the topic "Responsibility for corruption offences" took part Senior Prosecutor of General Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan Karimjon Musashaykhov and leading inspector of The Anti-Corruption Agency Saidakmal Yuldashev.

It should be noted that the results of reforms carried out in this direction are achieved more effectively if there is active support from citizens. Based on this, at the seminar was highlighted the necessity of strengthening public control in anti-corruption activities and taking measures to eliminate conditions that lead to corrupt practices.

Meanwhile, it was highlighted that the State Assets Management Agency was the second among the ministries and agencies to receive the certificate of the international anti-corruption standard ISO 37001:2016.

For reference: ISO 37001:2016 - the world's first international standard, which includes an international model for creating an effective anti-corruption system in the organization. By obtaining this certificate, the organization demonstrates to investors, entrepreneurs, public authorities and other interested parties that its operational processes are transparent, legal and comply with international best practices.

During the seminar the employees of the Agency received answers to all the questions they were interested in.
