In accordance with the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on April 30 this year the central office of the State Assets Management Agency (UzSAMA), its territorial divisions and other subordinate organizations carried out charity community work "Beautification of makhalla – prosperity of the country" on improvement and landscaping.

In particular, employees of the central office of UzSAMA carried out landscaping works in 20 makhallas’ citizens gatherings of Sergeli district of Tashkent.

Initially, in accordance with the ancient traditions and customs of our people, the process of this charitable community work started with prayers and blessings of the elders.

Around 171,140 seedlings of flowers, fruit and ornamental trees were planted in the respective plots, trees were whitewashed and trimmed, also landscaping and beautification work was carried out.

For landscaping purposes, flower and tree seedlings were selected based on the climatic conditions of the area. From now on, they will be taken care of in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, fed with mineral and organic fertilizers and protected from pests.

The community work did not abandon socially disadvantaged, especially deprived, elderly and disabled people, who were left without a breadwinner, and UzSAMA team helped to improve their living conditions.
