According to the relevant privatization programs, as well as the announcement of the State Assets Management Agency to attract a professional consulting company (hereinafter - Consultant) for the privatization of 87,7% state block of shares in the authorized capital of "Uzenergoengineering" JSC (hereinafter - Asset), the following is reported.
During the selection process, proposals were received from 7 local and international professional consulting companies, and their financial proposals, experience in the relevant field, as well as approaches to perform the relevant tasks were considered.
Accordingly, as a result of the selection process, the consulting company "Mosaic Financial", which presented the highest level of projects in this field, the qualification of the professional team involved in the project and the most acceptable price offer, was attracted as Consultant for the privatization of the 87,7% state block of shares in the authorized capital of "Uzenergoengineering" JSC.
Consultant includes the following tasks:
- Market analysis of electrical supply and electrification facilities engineering services and prerequisites for the development of the industry in Uzbekistan and in the region;
- conducting a comprehensive (tax, legal, financial and environmental) due diligence of the Asset;
- preparation of recommendations on optimal marketing strategy, marketing materials (teaser, information memorandum, procedural letter, etc.) and distribution of information materials to investors;
- taking all measures aimed at privatizing the Asset, including organizing the Virtual Data Room (VDR), preparing the draft of Sale and Purchase Agreement (with translation into Uzbek and, if necessary, into English and Russian), as well as support of the sale process.
The State Assets Management Agency together with the consalting company "Mosaic Financial" will take all necessary measures to organize the process in accordance with open, transparent and competitive sales mechanisms, as well as ensure the provision of information to the public on each stage of the process.
