In accordance with the Presidential Decree PD-101 dated April 8 of 2022 "On the further reforms to create conditions for sustainable economic growth by improving the business environment and development of the private sector", the following large companies are set to be privatized:

• with the involvement of an experienced investment bank work on the privatization of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" to begin, including through public offering (IPO) at least 49 percent shares, as well as the state share of 51 percent or more in JSC "Thermal Power Stations";
• on the basis of the conclusions of the international consulting company to submit for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers the Strategy for the reform of JSC "Uzbekgydroenergo".

At the same time in the process of construction of new small and medium hydropower plants the priority will be the implementation of projects with the participation of the private sector, including on the basis of public-private partnership conditions;

• Effort will be initiated to put up for public sale 51 percent or more of the charter capital of JSC “Uzbekistan Airways”, including through a public offering (IPO);
• With the involvement of an international investment bank and consultants a public offering (IPO) in the local stock market to 10 percent of the shares of JSC "UzAuto Motors" will be provided and a strategy for the sale of the remaining shares of this company and JSC "UzAuto Motors Powertrain", LLC "Samarqand Avtomobil zavodi" to strategic investors will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers.
