According to the announcement of the State Assets Management Agency about attracting a professional consulting company (hereinafter - Consultant) for the privatization of some enterprises operating in project engineering field (hereinafter - Assets), the following is reported.
During the selection process, proposals were received from 7 local and international professional consulting companies, and their financial proposals, experience in the relevant field, as well as approaches to perform the relevant tasks were considered.
Accordingly, as a result of the selection process, the Consortium of Abrau Capital, which presented the highest level of projects in this field, the qualification of the professional team involved in the project and the most acceptable price offer, was attracted as Consultant for the privatization of state stakes and shares in the authorized capital of the Assets.
Consultant includes the following tasks:
- Market analysis of engineering and surveying works and prerequisites for the development of the industry in Uzbekistan and in the region;
- conducting a comprehensive (tax, legal, financial and environmental) due diligence of the Assets;
- preparation of recommendations on optimal marketing strategy, marketing materials (teaser, information memorandum, procedural letter, etc.) and distribution of information materials to investors;
- taking all measures aimed at privatizing the Assets, including organizing the Virtual Data Room (VDR), preparing the draft of Sale and Purchase Agreement (with translation into Uzbek and, if necessary, into English and Russian), as well as support of the sale process.
The State Assets Management Agency together with the Consortium of Abrau Capital will take all necessary measures to organize the process in accordance with open, transparent and competitive sales mechanisms, as well as ensure the provision of information to the public on each stage of the process.
