In accordance with the relevant order of the Government, on 18 March, a nationwide charity community work was held throughout Uzbekistan. The community work was held under the slogan "A tidy and prosperous makhalla - beauty of the country" in preparation for the worthy celebration of holidays of Nowruz and the month of Ramadan, the improvement of makhallas, residential areas and adjacent territories, and support for vulnerable groups of the population.
In addition, the central office of UzSAMA, its territorial divisions and departmental organisations also made a significant contribution to the charity community work. In particular, employees carried out landscaping work on an area of 30 hectares in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region.
Seedlings of flowers, fruit and ornamental trees were planted in the respective plots, trees were whitewashed and trimmed, also landscaping and beautification work was carried out.
For landscaping purposes, flower and tree seedlings were selected based on the climatic conditions of the area. From now on, they will be taken care of in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, fed with mineral and organic fertilizers and protected from pests.
