On September 25 this year, the new General Director of Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistan Ltd (CCI Uzbekistan) Furkan Aydın visited the State Assets Management Agency in connection with the beginning of his work in Uzbekistan.
At the beginning of the meeting it was noted that the sale of CCI Uzbekistan in 2021 to the Turkish company “Coca-Cola İçecek”, part of the holding “Anadolu Group”, is one of the first successful examples of privatization in Uzbekistan. It was also emphasized that after privatization, the company introduced modern corporate and financial management systems, increased production capacity and operational efficiency, and launched a new modern fourth plant in Samarkand region worth 112 million USD. This was recognized as a positive outcome of the post-privatization process.
In addition, it was expressed confidence that under the direction of Mr. Furkan Aydin, a new plant with modern technology and advanced infrastructure will be built in Namangan in 2025 to replace the existing plant.
For his part, Mr. Furkan Aydin highly appreciated the conditions created in Uzbekistan for foreign investors, positive investment climate, as well as institutional reforms carried out in recent years, as well as open and transparent privatization processes.
At the end of the meeting, the State Assets Management Agency wished Mr. Furkan Aydin success in his future career and identified areas for further cooperation.
