On June 19 this year in the building of the State Asset Management Agency a draft agreement on public-private partnership was signed between the representatives of Russian Stroyproekt LLC and UzSAMA.
In accordance with this agreement, a project on creation of a business centre building "St. Petersburg" will be implemented in the centre of Tashkent on the basis of public-private partnership. "St. Petersburg", in particular:
- the leasing of 0.20 hectares of land by the private partner for a period of twenty-five years;
- Completion of construction of a modern business centre building and setting up of services on the lower floors by September 1, 2025 as a result of an investment of USD 10.0 mln;
- creation of at least 150 new job positions;
- Allocate at least one thousand square meters of modern business centre building to accommodate Tashkent city department of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
For reference: Stroyproekt LLC was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in St Petersburg. The company is one of the leading Russian companies in transport infrastructure design. The main focus of the company is comprehensive design of highways, bridges, railway infrastructure and airport complexes, as well as control over construction.
