A decree of the Cabinet of Ministers dated July 17 this year “On additional measures to support entrepreneurs of small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones” has been adopted.

The decree establishes:

• mechanisms for accepting the fulfillment of investment and social obligations of participants of small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones;
• procedure for privatization of state real estate objects provided to the participants who have fully fulfilled their investment and social obligations;
• the authority of the State Assets Management Agency to privatize state property located in small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones;
• the launch of a separate electronic software program for recording investment projects in small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones.

At the same time, a Government Commission has been established on the issues of accepting the fulfillment of investment and social obligations, as well as privatization of state real estate objects in small industrial zones, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones located in the Tashkent city.

The Government Commission is entrusted with the following tasks:

• considers issues of privatization of land plots on the territory of small industrial, youth industrial and entrepreneurial zones located in the Tashkent city, examining for compliance with the general plan of the city that is being developed;
• accepts fulfillment of investment and social obligations, as well as decides on privatization of state real estate objects.
