In the III International Conference of “Capital Market of the Republic of Uzbekistan” organized by Cbonds, about 100 local market representatives, regulators and experts from international organizations took part.
NBU, National Association of investment institutions, Uzmetkombinat, Halyk Finance (Kazakhstan), Akra (Russia), Asia Frontier Capital (China), Sovkombank (Russia), Natixis (France), Belinvestbank (Belarus), Allen & Overy (Great Britain) and others participted in the conference.
A. Miraliev, the head of the Department of UzSAMA also delivered a speech in the session “Financial market of Uzbekistan: infrastructure and regulation”.
The report highlighted important aspects of the strategy of management and reform of enterprises with state participation in 2021-2025, the list of state assets that are planned to be privatized in 2021, the dynamics of the decrease in the share of the state, as well as the news on privatization. It was noted that until 2025, it is planned to reduce the number of state-owned enterprises to 75%.
