From February 28 to March 3 this year, the State Assets Management Agency in the delegation headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Federal Republic of Germany. During the visit, representatives of the State Assets Management Agency actively participated in the Germany-Uzbekistan Business Forum and Business Forum "The Day of Economy of Uzbekistan in Hamburg", organized in Berlin and Hamburg.

During the business forum, the Director of the State Assets Management Agency Mr. Akmalhon Ortikov was presented and gave detailed information about the results achieved in privatization in Uzbekistan, future prospective plans, including state assets offered for sale and the procedures for participation in the privatization process to more than 250 representatives of German business circles. Also, investment teasers of large state assets subject to privatization were distributed to the participants.

At the same time, during the forum held at a high level, Mr. Ortikov had direct G2B meetings with more than 50 representatives of German business circles. During the meeting the representatives of business circles were introduced to conditions created for foreign investors in our country and invited to take an active part in privatization processes in Uzbekistan. Also, detailed answers were given to a range of questions raised by participants of the event and representatives of mass media.

In turn, during the visit, meetings with Dr. Andreas Kerst, Head of Division at Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany, Professor Klaus Mangold, Chairman of Board of German Company "Mangold Consulting GmbH" and Mathias Nehm, representative of  company Indecon consulting GmbH were held. A number of agreements on developing bilateral cooperation were reached, including capacity building of Agency's employees in the field of privatization and corporate governance.
