On December 3 this year, the State Assets Management Agency held regular "Roadshow" presentation of state assets to be privatized in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in particular state shares in enterprises, empty state properties and land plots to be sold.
The event held at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was attended by the representatives of the local Khokimiyats, large enterprises of the region as well as over 100 entrepreneurs. In turn, representatives of the State Assets Management Agency conducted a "master class" on the use of the electronic trading platform "E-auksion" and explained in detail, both theoretically and practically, the procedures for opening a personal account on the platform, obtaining an electronic signature online and participation in the auction.
During the "Roadshow" the entrepreneurs were introduced to 102 state assets and assets of companies with state participation and 2115 land plots offered for public auction, as well as 524 state properties offered for lease.
In addition, 2 citizens who had previously privatized non-agricultural land plots owned by them on the right of permanent use or lifetime ownership were handed state warrants confirming their ownership and other participants in the event were given explanations on the procedure of this process.
During the Roadshow, which was held at a high level with questions and answers, Deputy Director of the Agency Kakhramon Hakimov, Head of Territorial Department Makhsud Rajapov and other responsible executives of the region answered a number of questions asked by the participants and media representatives.
Also, in the second half of the day, the responsible executives together with media representatives organized a Press Tour to the state property objects offered for public auction in Nukus city and Takhiatosh district.
For reference: Such presentations and meetings (Roadshow) have been conducted in Andijan, Bukhara, Fergana, Jizzak, Khorezm, Namangan, Navoi, Kashkadarya, Samarkand and Surkhandarya regions. In the future, it is planned to hold it in the remaining regions of the country and in the city of Tashkent.
