Only united - we are one nation, only together - we are motherland!

On August 28 this year, with the participation of the entire UzSAMA team, a spiritual and educational event was held under the slogan ‘Only united - we are one nation, only together - we are motherland!’ dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the independence of our country.

In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 264 dated 18 July 2024 "On the preparation and conduct of the celebration of the thirty-third anniversary of the State independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the organization of spiritual and educational events dedicated to the Independence Day, meetings with the participation of famous representatives of science, culture and art, full honoring of representatives of the older generation, participants of the World War II and labor veterans, visiting and providing material and moral assistance to citizens living in “Mehribonlik”, “Sakhovat” and “Muruvvat” houses, as well as to those who are included in the social protection system and need support.

The event, held under the slogan “Only united we are one nation, only together we are motherland!” was attended by the holder of the “Dustlik” Medal, member of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, poet Bobur Bobomurod and singer Jasur Rakhimov.

The poet Bobur Bobomurod, speaking at the event, told about the importance of the independence and the development, that were not reached by their own, and about the bravery of our ancestors, who fought for the will of the people, freedom and welfare of the nation on this blessed day. Our country has entered a new stage of development, fundamental reforms are being carried out in all areas and sectors, and processes of democratic renewal are underway. The past period has shown that free and prosperous life and great future can be built only and only on the basis of independence. Through the restoration of historical justice and truth, the names of victims of repression and pro-independence progressives who gave their lives for our national independence have been restored. He spoke about the struggle of our grandfathers, who are the pride of the nation, for the peace and freedom of the homeland.

During the spiritual-educational event, poems and songs were performed honoring such virtues as homeland, independence, human dignity, and respect for parents.
